Adrián Ferrer leads the single-brand cup of Toyota Spain and MSi (147 points), followed by Marcos de Diego and Antonio Albacete, both with 124 points.

This coming weekend (November 9 and 10) the last of the five events in the GR Cup Spain calendar, the single-brand cup organized by Toyota Spain and Motor & Sport Institute (MSi), will be held at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with the Toyota GR86 Circuit Pack.

Ahead of this last meeting, there are three drivers who start as favorites to take the title. Adrián Ferrer leads the overall classification with 147 points, followed by Marcos de Diego and Antonio Albacete, both tied on 124 points.

Meanwhile the fight for the rest of the podium positions is very close, as Ignacio Rodríguez and Iván Riera, also tied on 118 points, are only 6 points away from the top positions. It must not be forgotten that Riera was the clear leader of the last round held at the Jerez Circuit, where he won both races.

Another highlight of this last race of the year is the entry of four new drivers at the wheel of the Toyota GR86 Circuit Pack, with atmospheric engine of 2.4 liters, 4 cylinders and 234 hp, which shows the growing interest for this single-brand cup. Jonathan and Óscar Gómez will share a car and will participate in one race each. In turn, Albert Fàbrega, motor journalist, will be the guest of Toyota Spain. They will be joined by Daniel Losada, who will be in the GR86 of the Motorismo team.

The action on the track will start on Friday, with a group test, when the Toyota GR86 Circuit Pack will make its debut on the mythical Catalonian track. On Saturday morning free practice will take place, followed by timed practice and, at 15:55 pm, the first of the two races scheduled for the weekend will be held. On Sunday, the second timed practice and the second race will be held (14:40 pm), which will bring the race and the 2024 season of the new Toyota Spain and MSi single-brand cup to a close.

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is 4,657 meters long, and has a total of 14 corners, 8 on the right and 6 on the left.
