The parity between the participants will again be the highlight of the GR Cup Spain.

This coming weekend (October 5 and 6) the fourth meeting of the season of the GR Cup Spain, the single-brand cup organized by Toyota Spain and Motor & Sport Institute (MSi), will be held at the Angel Nieto Racetrack, in Jerez.

Once again, this event will be part of the program of activities of the Racing Weekend. The GR Cup Spain drivers will take to the track on Friday, with one hour of private practice.

As in every race so far, it is expected that equality between the drivers at the top of the classification will be the norm. In this regard, it should be noted that the top four are only 14 points apart, with Adrián Ferrer leading the championship, followed by Félix Aparicio, Marcos de Diego and Ignacio Rodríguez. Following them, the equality is also patent, since Antonio Albacete, Santi Castilla, José Antonio Chico or Luis Carlos Pérez are 10 points apart.

In addition to the usual list of registered drivers, on this occasion two guests will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Toyota GR86 Circuit Pack, with an atmospheric engine of 2.4 liters, 4 cylinders and 234 hp: Daniel Cuadrado and Ignacio Crocicchia. Each will compete in one of the races scheduled for the weekend. They will be joined by Mariano Alonso.

On Saturday, the GR Cup Spain action will start with free practice, timed practice and the first race of the weekend. On Sunday, the second timed practice and the second race will be held.

The Angel Nieto Circuit is one of the most technical and historic tracks of the championship. It has 13 curves (eight to the right and five to the left) of high, medium and low speed. Its length is 4,423 meters.
